About the role
This position will lead and unify Ashby's customer education initiatives, including consulting services, a public-facing academy, and product enablement for internal teams. You will shape a cohesive educational strategy that empowers both customers and Ashby's go-to-market departments.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Guide the RecOps Consulting team to ensure customer engagements deliver significant value and that learnings are integrated into educational content.
- Collaborate with Professional Services on structuring and delivering paid consulting engagements.
- Partner on content strategy for the Academy, determining what content is developed and how it is organized.
- Develop new Academy programs, including a product certification path and a digital learning experience.
- Build out Product Enablement to translate product knowledge for Customer Success and Sales teams and improve new hire onboarding.
- Establish operational frameworks for intake, engagement, and capacity planning to support the scaling of all three functions.
- Represent Customer Education externally through speaking engagements and customer sessions, providing feedback to the product team.
Requirements
- Experience building and scaling functions related to Recruiting Operations, Customer Success, or Customer Education.
- Ability to think from first principles about education and tailor approaches to specific audiences.
- Proven leadership skills, with experience developing and managing other leaders.
- Aptitude for designing operating models and systems for distinct but related functions.
- Comfort with ambiguity and a drive to build and scale new initiatives.
- Strong communication skills, particularly in a writing-intensive environment.
- Capacity to consider the needs of a diverse customer base, from small teams to enterprise organizations.
- Willingness to engage with new tools and technologies to support the team.
- A clear perspective on how consulting and education can reinforce each other.
