ArcheSys Inc. is looking for a skilled AWS Cloud Solutions Architect to design and implement advanced cloud infrastructures. This role involves collaborating with teams to create tailored solutions that meet specific client needs and align with strategic objectives.

What you'll do
- Create detailed architectural designs for cloud-based solutions that support business goals.
- Work with project groups to develop custom solutions addressing unique challenges.
- Assist in setting up and managing cloud environments, primarily on AWS.
- Contribute to the development and deployment of infrastructure using code, such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Bridge communication between technical experts and business stakeholders to ensure shared understanding.
- Lead discussions and meetings to gather requirements and feedback.
- Analyze existing systems and suggest improvements or integrations.
- Evaluate potential technology partners and vendors.
- Produce comprehensive documentation, including diagrams and technical specifications.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions for new solutions.
- Ensure solutions comply with industry standards, data privacy, and security policies.
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to meet regulatory demands.
- Monitor solution performance and make necessary adjustments.
- Support IT teams in troubleshooting and resolving post-implementation issues.
- Stay informed about new technologies and trends.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a solutions architect role, with a total of 3-7 years in IT or software development.
- Proven experience with cloud platforms, specifically AWS.
- Proficiency in integration technologies like APIs and middleware.
- Strong understanding of programming languages, databases, and software development methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on practical and innovative outcomes.
- Experience with architectural modeling tools such as ArchiMate or UML.
- Exceptional communication and presentation abilities, able to explain complex topics clearly.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- A proactive approach to identifying opportunities for innovation.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- A desire for continuous learning and adaptation.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced setting.
- Must have resided in the U.S. for at least 3 of the past 5 years.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship (Citizen, Permanent Resident, or EAD).
- Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certification in at least one cloud platform, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect
- Associate.
Nice to have
- Master's degree or advanced professional certifications.
- Experience in government consulting.
- Experience in management consulting or client-facing roles.
- Familiarity with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) environment, processes, or data.
- Additional certifications like Docker Certified Associate or Certified Kubernetes Administrator.
