We are looking for a Member of Technical Staff to help develop our platform, collaborating closely with legal professionals and AI engineers to transform legal expertise into efficient software solutions.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain essential product features across the entire technology stack, from data structures to user interfaces utilized by attorneys and clients.
• Collaborate closely with AI engineers and legal experts to convert complex legal processes and review protocols into dependable software applications.
• Make informed architectural and tooling choices that facilitate rapid development while avoiding future complications.
• Ensure high standards of quality by writing maintainable code, prioritizing reliability, and taking ownership of deployed features.
• Contribute to the establishment of engineering culture, standards, and recruitment as the team expands.
• Ensure timely completion of projects, prioritizing customer experience above all else.

Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in developing and deploying production software, preferably in a startup environment.
• Proficient in full-stack development (e.g., TypeScript/React for front-end, a contemporary back-end framework, and relational databases).
• Proven ability to take ownership of features from inception to deployment and make informed engineering decisions.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and thriving in a fast-paced, high-responsibility setting.
• Bonus: Familiarity with AI/LLM-driven products or experience in legal, fintech, or other critical sectors.
• Strong judgment, effective communication skills, and a commitment to high-quality work.

• Experience with AI/LLM-powered products or in legal, fintech, or other high-stakes domains.

• Competitive salary ranging from $160,000 to $240,000 based on experience.
