About the role
This position is a key part of the People organization, supporting a growing international workforce across more than six countries. You will collaborate closely with the Head of Global Mobility & Immigration to shape strategy and develop programs. This role involves leading and expanding initiatives that impact global operations and employee experience.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Manage the complete immigration strategy, acting as the primary subject matter expert for major US visa categories like H-1B, L-1, O-1, and PERM, ensuring global compliance.
- Develop the rotation and mobility program, overseeing the entire process for international transfers, assignments, and permanent relocations.
- Improve operational efficiency by documenting standard procedures, managing vendor relationships, and defining key performance indicators such as time-to-file and cost-per-matter.
- Create scalable communication systems for managers, including tiered guidance, service level agreements for intake, and self-service resources to reduce inquiries.
- Actively use AI tools to automate repetitive case tasks, generate communications at scale, and convert regulatory updates into clear guidance for managers.
- Support global expansion and mergers and acquisitions by evaluating work authorization feasibility and contributing to implementation plans for new markets.
- Oversee a portfolio of over 300 immigration cases and more than 50 international relocations, using data and AI to enhance speed, quality, and cost.
Requirements
- 5+ years of increasing experience in corporate immigration and global mobility, preferably in a fast-paced, international setting.
- Strong project management abilities, with a proven history of creating scalable programs that link strategy to execution.
- A systems-focused approach and the capacity to build playbooks that allow for reliable, autonomous execution of complex, repeatable work.
- Demonstrated fluency with AI, actively using tools to scale communication and automate workflows, not just as a future goal.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of translating legal complexities into business-oriented options for senior leadership.
Nice to have
- Experience creating AI-assisted workflows, such as automated RFE drafting or status digests.
- Experience with international relocations, tax equalization, and secondment compliance.
- Background in high-growth technology, including multi-country expansions and M&A integration.
