What you'll do

• Develop and implement IT strategies that align with the company's objectives and enhance operational efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with the Director of IT & Cybersecurity to plan IT initiatives, manage budgets, and allocate resources effectively.
• Lead and mentor diverse teams, offering guidance, training, and performance evaluations to foster professional growth.
• Oversee daily IT operations, including the maintenance of networks, procurement of hardware and software, backup systems, and ensuring system reliability.
• Assess current systems and technology assets to propose necessary upgrades, migrations, or optimizations for improved performance.
• Ensure that the IT infrastructure is scalable, dependable, and seamlessly integrated with business operations.
• Manage large-scale IT projects such as system implementations, cloud migrations, and enhancements to cybersecurity, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets while coordinating with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with various departments to provide technology solutions that effectively address their specific needs.
• Evaluate and enhance cybersecurity protocols, conducting risk assessments, developing policies, and managing incident response strategies.
• Ensure compliance with data protection laws and conduct regular audits to maintain standards.
• Negotiate contracts with vendors for IT services, software licenses, and hardware procurement.
• Manage IT budgets, monitor expenses, and identify opportunities for cost optimization without compromising quality.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users and staff members.
• Design and deliver training programs focused on new technologies and best practices to enhance team capabilities.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline is required.
• A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in IT, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of networking, cloud computing platforms (such as O365/Intune, AWS GovCloud, Azure, and SharePoint), and scripting languages.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity tools, including SIEM, NESSUS, CASB/SASE, SOAR, and XDR/EDR.
• Experience with project management software is essential.
• Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills to effectively connect technical and business teams.

Nice to have

• A Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, CISSP, CISM, or ITIL.
• Experience in managing remote teams or working in a hybrid environment.
