Facilities Operations Specialist at apex-technology-inc.
About the role
Apex manufactures satellite buses at scale to support the growing demand for commercial spacecraft. We are looking for a Facilities Operations Specialist to manage daily operations across our engineering, laboratory, and manufacturing sites.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Handle employee service requests from initial intake through completion.
- Organize seating charts, office moves, and onboarding or offboarding logistics.
- Manage the CMMS platform, including work orders, asset records, and preventive maintenance schedules.
- Generate operational reports and dashboards to track performance metrics.
- Maintain vendor compliance records, such as insurance certificates and permits.
- Assist with construction administration by organizing bids, tracking RFIs, and managing project closeout documentation.
- Coordinate contractor site access and monitor project milestones.
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in facilities coordination, project administration, or workplace operations.
- Must be a U.S. Person to comply with export control regulations.
- Working knowledge of CMMS platforms and facilities workflow software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and document control procedures.
- Ability to navigate manufacturing, warehouse, and laboratory environments.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and wear required PPE.

- Experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or technical facility settings.
- Background in construction administration or project documentation.
- Experience managing audit documentation and vendor compliance.
- Familiarity with building systems and operational reporting.
