About the role
We are seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to join our team, focusing on the creation and deployment of machine learning models within an Azure environment. This position is fully remote and offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $40 to $55. The initial contract duration is six months.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Design, implement, and enhance machine learning models for various applications.
- Oversee the entire model lifecycle, including data preparation, algorithm selection, training, and performance assessment.
- Employ MLOps principles for continuous integration and delivery of machine learning models, including version control and automation.
- Utilize Microsoft Azure for the deployment and management of models in a production environment.
Requirements
Candidates must have hands-on experience with the following:
- Supervised and unsupervised machine learning techniques
- Neural networks and Natural Language Processing (NLP)
- Programming in Python, R, and SQL
- Familiarity with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, Keras, or PyTorch
- Experience with Microsoft Azure as a cloud platform
- Knowledge of DevOps or MLOps practices for managing the model lifecycle
Nice to have
- Experience with Azure Machine Learning, Azure DevOps, Azure Databricks, or Azure Functions
- Proven track record of building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for machine learning models
- Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes
- Background in deploying models in production settings
Skills & tools
- Proficiency in machine learning algorithms and frameworks
- Strong programming skills in Python, R, and SQL
- Familiarity with cloud services, particularly Microsoft Azure
- Understanding of MLOps and DevOps methodologies
