Salesforce Developer, Partnerships

About the role

You will design and maintain the Salesforce infrastructure supporting our Partnerships business, including deal registration, co-sell operations, and partner attribution. This position requires an AI-first approach, where you will use Claude and internal tooling to build, review, and deploy scalable solutions across Revenue Operations, Partnerships, and Finance.

What you'll do

• Architect and build Salesforce infrastructure for partner account hierarchies, channel-conflict detection, and deal registration workflows.
• Develop Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Flow automations using established trigger frameworks and coding standards.
• Manage integrations between Salesforce and external partner systems, including cloud marketplaces like AWS, GCP, and Azure, as well as middleware and PRM tools.
• Configure partner-facing portals, focusing on license models, visibility, and sharing rules.
• Utilize Claude and internal AI development tools as a core component of your daily build and code review processes.
• Collaborate with Revenue Operations analysts to ensure data models support accurate partner performance reporting.
• Coordinate with DevOps on release management, including sandbox strategy, source control, and SFDX deployment.
• Maintain documentation, test coverage, and security controls for all developed solutions.

Requirements

• Hands-on production experience with Salesforce development, specifically Apex, SOQL, LWC, and Flow.
• Background in building or maintaining channel functionality such as partner portals, attribution models, or co-sell opportunity management.
• Experience connecting Salesforce to external platforms via REST/Bulk APIs or middleware tools like Mulesoft or Workato.
• Proficiency with SFDX, metadata management, and sandbox-to-production release cycles.
• Active experience using AI-assisted coding tools like Cursor, Copilot, or Claude, with the ability to verify and steer AI-generated output.
• Basic SQL proficiency and experience working with data warehouses.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of training and professional experience.

Nice to have

• 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development.
• Salesforce Platform Developer I and II certifications.
• Advanced Administrator or Application/System Architect certifications.
• Deep knowledge of platform constraints, including governor limits, bulkification, and recursion control.
• Experience with partner-specific platforms like Workspan.
• History of scaling Salesforce within high-growth go-to-market environments.
