Staff+ Software Engineer, Developer Acceleration

This position focuses on building the infrastructure that allows our internal teams to utilize AI agents for research and engineering tasks. You will shape the future of agentic productivity by developing runtime platforms and knowledge systems that improve how our staff operates.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Define technical strategy and roadmaps for agentic productivity tools.
• Build and maintain agent runtime platforms and context management systems.
• Establish quality standards and benchmarks for agent-driven engineering.
• Create agent harnesses and conduct performance experiments.
• Design and implement automated evaluations to measure agent behavior.
• Ensure infrastructure reliability, scalability, and operational excellence.
• Collaborate across internal teams to improve development velocity.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience building and operating large-scale distributed systems.
• 3+ years of experience in a tech lead or senior engineering role managing complex projects.
• Proven experience working with AI agents for technical or knowledge-based tasks.
• Background in building scalable platforms.
• Strong communication skills for supporting internal partners.
• Bachelor degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with container or VM orchestration at scale.
• Background in developer productivity tools, such as CI/CD or build systems.
• Experience developing widely adopted CLI tools and services.
• Experience collaborating directly with researchers.
• A focus on the evolution of human work and the transition toward agent-assisted workflows.
