American Innovations provides compliance technology to the oil and gas sector, focusing on data collection and reporting tools. We are seeking an IT professional to manage our cloud infrastructure and internal systems as we launch our next generation of products.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Oversee virtualization, public cloud resources, and internal IT systems to maintain security and uptime.
• Deploy new infrastructure following CIS Benchmarks and industry standards.
• Maintain detailed documentation for system configurations and updates.
• Implement automated infrastructure management using DevOps and configuration workflows.
• Administer network hardware, including firewalls and switches, alongside endpoint protection.
• Integrate security testing tools like SAST, DAST, and SCA into CI/CD pipelines.
• Conduct audits for system access rights and manage risk registers.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Windows and Linux server administration and Azure cloud management.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with virtualization platforms like Kubernetes, VMWare, or Proxmox.
• Minimum 3 years of experience using Azure DevOps, GitHub, and orchestration tools such as Ansible, Chef, Salt, or Puppet.
• Minimum 3 years of experience managing network infrastructure and firewalls from vendors like Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, or Checkpoint.
• Experience with CI/CD tools including Jenkins, CircleCI, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
• Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, and Shell scripting.
• Experience with IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience with VDI infrastructure such as Citrix or Parallels.
• Experience with vulnerability management and endpoint security including Nessus, CrowdStrike, Bitdefender, Carbon Black, or Sentinel One.
• Experience with Active Directory and MDM solutions like Intune, Jamf, Hexnode, or NinjaOne.
• Experience with monitoring tools like Zabbix, Nagios, OpenNMS, Prometheus, or Grafana.
• Experience with backup solutions such as Veeam, Nakivo, or Netbackup.
• Experience with SIEM and logging systems like Splunk, ELK Stack, LogRhythm, or AlienVault.
• Familiarity with Incident, Change, and Problem management processes.

Nice to have

• ITIL certification.
