About the role
Ambrook is seeking a Product Specialist to guide owner-operators through our financial platform. This role involves demonstrating the product, closing deals, and ensuring successful customer activation and early expansion. You will be a product expert, providing valuable feedback to our development teams while building strong customer relationships.

What you'll do
- Lead product demonstrations and independently close new business.
- Achieve scaled sales targets and activate new customers by connecting banks, categorizing transactions, and issuing invoices.
- Build strong relationships with internal teams and cross-functional colleagues.
- Manage your sales pipeline and master essential tools like HubSpot, Nooks, and Slack.
- Develop a deep understanding of small-business finance across key industries to identify customer needs.
- Provide detailed product feedback to development teams, addressing all but the most technical questions.
- Consistently meet or exceed sales quotas to support growth objectives.
- Drive adoption of fintech and Full Service features to ensure long-term customer retention.
- Qualify and serve owner-operators across various sectors, customizing pitches and setups for specific financial needs (e.g., P&L for agriculture, job costing for contractors, AR velocity for high-volume invoicing, property economics for landlords).
- Understand competitor offerings in each vertical and effectively position Ambrook against them.
- Interview, collaborate with, and train new team members.
- Identify common customer themes and determine which prospects can be served without a sales call to focus on more complex operations.
Requirements
- Proven sales experience, or direct experience as an operator in industries like farming, ranching, construction, or trades.
- Experience in high-volume, customer-centric environments such as hospitality, retail, or door-to-door sales.
- A thoughtful, compassionate, and empathetic approach to interactions with colleagues and customers.
Nice to have
- Experience with product-led growth, sales-assist models, activation/onboarding, or channel partnerships.
- Background in American real-economy industries like agriculture, trucking, construction, trades, or property management.
- Experience in fintech or accounting/bookkeeping.

Practical notes
