About the role
Ambrook is seeking a Product Manager to help build financial tools for American family-run businesses. This role involves shaping product strategy and execution for core components of an AI-native financial institution. You will contribute to making agriculture more sustainable and profitable by improving financial clarity for independent operators.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Drive product direction and execution for key components like ERP, neobank, or AI context and action engines.
- Increase customer acquisition, engagement, and retention for Ambrook's products.
- Educate on best practices for product and project management, prioritization, and data fluency.
- Refine product processes, feedback loops, iteration speed, and overall product quality.
- Learn the specifics of climate tech for American SMBs, including bookkeeping, the industrial economy, and ESG.
- Within one month, familiarize yourself with Ambrook's product, user research, and customer needs.
- Within one month, build relationships with engineering, design, customer success, and sales teams.
- Within one month, lead a pod of engineers and designers to define, build, release, and measure a new feature.
- Within three months, visit customers on-site to gain product insights.
- Within three months, own the roadmap and strategy for a significant product area, balancing various constraints.
- Within three months, use customer insights, data, and intuition to guide product decisions.
- Within six months, define and execute a product direction that aligns with company strategy and inspires the team.
- Within six months, deliver top-tier product experiences to thousands of customers and plan future features.
- Within six months, contribute to hiring and growing the team by evaluating candidates.
Requirements
- Several years of product management experience, working with dedicated engineering teams.
- Proven track record of shipping impactful products that receive positive customer feedback.
- Experience in early-stage or high-growth environments is preferred.
- Strong product intuition, capable of synthesizing diverse inputs into sound decisions.
- Ability to apply and clearly explain frameworks for decision-making.
- Proficient in SQL and Excel for data analysis, dashboard creation, and measuring work success.
- Skilled in using AI tools to enhance work efficiency without compromising output quality.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate product vision and align stakeholders.
- Comfortable leading team meetings, producing high-quality product requirements, and keeping pace with a startup environment.
- Thrives in ambiguous situations, transforming abstract problems into clear, actionable solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver results on schedule while managing scope, priorities, and dependencies.
