About the role

This role focuses on building the infrastructure that powers AI agents for Amazon Advertising. You will develop systems that allow AI to reason over real-time data to provide strategic insights for millions of advertisers.

What you'll do

• Architect and build API systems capable of handling millions of advertisers and thousands of transactions per second.
• Develop Model Context Protocol server infrastructure to provide AI agents with data context at low latency and low token usage.
• Create system design patterns to support global advertising experiences at scale.
• Implement feedback loops to monitor and improve the accuracy of AI-driven solutions.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software development experience, excluding internships.
• 2+ years of experience in system design and architecture, specifically regarding reliability and scaling.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language.

Nice to have

• 3+ years of experience managing the full software development life cycle, including build processes, testing, code reviews, and operations.
• Bachelor degree in computer science or a related field.

Skills & tools

• AWS services: ECS, Fargate, EC2, EMR, Lambda, Kafka, Elastic Search, Dynamo DB, SQS, SNS, Cloud watch, CDK, Cloud Formation.
• Distributed systems concepts: linearizability, eventual consistency, data propagation, and performance optimization.
