App Dev Engineer, Selling Partner Experience

About the role

This position focuses on building and refining self-service software tools known as Paramount workflows for third-party sellers. You will bridge the gap between business needs and technical execution to improve how merchants interact with the Amazon marketplace.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Collaborate with stakeholders to map business processes and write functional specifications.
• Build, test, and deploy Paramount workflow applications.
• Act as an internal expert on the company workflow engine and authoring tools.
• Coordinate with software engineering teams to influence technical roadmaps.
• Troubleshoot operational and product issues to create efficient, long-term fixes.
• Develop content using various markup and styling languages.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Engineering, IT, or a related technical field, or equivalent work experience.
• Professional background in process development, product design, software development, or business process improvement.
• Proficiency in data and process modeling, including wireframing, logic development, and process mapping.
• Experience with Java, JavaScript, Ruby, SQL, Markdown, HTML, and CSS.
• Familiarity with Scrum methodologies and web application delivery.
• Experience using Generative AI tools.

Nice to have

• Master degree in a technical field or an MBA.
• Background in software development lifecycles.
• History of implementing disruptive technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to integrate AI solutions into products, including prompt engineering and output evaluation.
