What you'll do

• Design and implement scalable and efficient backend services using Go, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to define and refine software requirements and specifications.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs that serve as the backbone of our applications, ensuring seamless integration with various platforms.
• Optimize existing code and conduct performance tuning to enhance application speed and efficiency.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers and ensuring adherence to best practices in software development.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex issues in a timely manner, employing analytical skills to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
• Contribute to the design and architecture of new features, ensuring they align with the overall technical vision of the company.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in Go and related technologies, applying this knowledge to improve our development processes.
• Mentor junior developers, sharing your expertise and fostering a culture of continuous learning within the team.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to streamline deployment processes and enhance the reliability of our applications in production environments.
• Document technical specifications and processes to ensure knowledge sharing and maintainability of the codebase.
• Engage in agile development practices, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure timely delivery of projects.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years focused on Go programming.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and experience in building and deploying microservices in a cloud environment.
• Proficiency in designing and implementing RESTful APIs, with a solid grasp of API security best practices.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB) for data storage solutions.
• Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git, and experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience in the iGaming industry or familiarity with online gaming platforms.
• Knowledge of other programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and serverless architecture.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment.
• Contributions to open-source projects or personal projects that demonstrate your coding skills and passion for software development.
