What you'll do

• Develop and maintain scalable, event-driven systems for global payments and treasury.
• Design and implement solutions for a comprehensive treasury platform integrated into financial infrastructure.
• Contribute to the architecture and engineering of highly available and resilient financial services.
• Identify and resolve complex technical challenges in distributed systems.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience building and maintaining systems at scale.
• Proven experience developing microservices and client-facing APIs.
• Strong proficiency in Go programming.
• Experience writing clean, well-tested, and maintainable code.
• Familiarity with domain-driven and event-driven design principles.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration, specifically Kubernetes.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with messaging queues and message brokers.
• Experience with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL.
• Experience designing and working with distributed systems.
• Understanding of payment processing flows and the payment lifecycle.
• Knowledge of double-entry accounting and financial ledgers.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Preference for simple and efficient solutions.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in the financial industry or knowledge of payment initiation.
• Experience with financial reconciliation systems.
• Familiarity with the ISO20022 financial standard.
• Experience working in a remote environment.
• Experience in a startup, exchange, brokerage, market maker, or hedge fund.
• A DevOps mindset.
