About the role
This role is central to maintaining and enhancing Alpaca's public-facing website, acting as the primary digital touchpoint for customers, partners, and potential employees. You will ensure the website is clear, current, and cohesive for all visitors, balancing strategic oversight with hands-on contributions.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Drive ongoing enhancements and updates to the website, treating it as a dynamic product.
- Refine and improve content and design inputs from various teams, ensuring high standards for brand, voice, and accessibility.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators for the website, using data to inform improvements.
- Collaborate with engineering to develop and refine site infrastructure, including content management systems and analytics tools.
- Align cross-functional teams on messaging and strategy to present a unified brand narrative on the website.
- Ensure a cohesive experience between the website and other content channels like blogs and podcasts.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in web operations, digital project management, design production, or a similar web producer capacity, with a focus on owning a company's public website.
- Proven ability in project management, including intake, prioritization, timeline management, and stakeholder communication.
- Demonstrated hands-on design and copywriting skills, capable of making professional edits within design tools and adhering to brand guidelines.
- Proficiency in analyzing web analytics data (e.g., GA4) and translating insights into actionable improvements.
- Understanding of SEO, AI search best practices, conversion funnel optimization, and modern CMS platforms.
- Experience with A/B testing, personalization, and quality assurance processes for web content.
- Technical understanding to effectively collaborate with engineering on site tooling and infrastructure.
- Experience managing multilingual and multi-region website localization projects.

- Experience setting up or migrating content management systems and building reusable site components.
- Background in content strategy and managing diverse content formats across multiple channels.
