Venture Manager (China)

About the role

Almedia is seeking a Venture Manager to drive our expansion and operational success in China. You will translate high-level founder objectives into functional, high-growth business units while operating in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment.

What you'll do

• Build new ventures from the ground up, turning initial concepts into profitable, scalable revenue streams.
• Execute high-priority missions assigned by the CEO, utilizing data-driven testing to move from strategy to implementation.
• Manage relationships with major global advertisers and ensure the successful delivery of critical projects.
• Create operational frameworks and whitepapers to enhance internal efficiency alongside R&D leadership.
• Direct cross-functional sprints and workshops to ensure initiatives meet strict quality and timeline requirements.

Requirements

• Proven background in strategic consulting or operations within high-growth startups, specifically in zero-to-one venture building.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex market data to inform business strategy.
• Experience managing high-stakes client relationships and leading teams through full project lifecycles.
• Proficiency in applying Lean Startup and Design Thinking methodologies to solve ambiguous problems in AdTech.
• Ability to work in an intensive, high-speed environment where ownership and rapid iteration are expected.
