Growth Manager (China)

About the role

Almedia is seeking a Growth Manager for the Chinese market to drive revenue and manage advertiser accounts. This role offers significant responsibility early on, focusing on measurable outcomes and direct impact on the company's growth. You will be instrumental in expanding our marketing solutions for major global companies.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Manage a portfolio of 5-15 advertiser accounts from start to finish.
• Increase revenue for your assigned accounts, measured by top-line growth.
• Adjust internal Return on Ad Spend (ROAS) targets hourly based on offer, location, and operating system.
• Proactively identify and resolve potential issues for advertisers before they become problems.
• Act as a bridge between commercial partners and internal technical teams for data and performance issues.
• Regularly document and implement improvements to the Growth team's operational procedures.

Requirements

• Demonstrated drive and a desire to achieve significant results.
• Ability to analyze data and clearly communicate insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Comfortable engaging in both commercial discussions with advertisers and technical conversations with algorithm teams.
• Fluent in both English and Chinese.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with platform marketing metrics such as ROAS, LTV, retention, and ARPU.
• Experience managing advertiser or partner accounts in performance marketing, mobile gaming user acquisition, or rewarded user acquisition.
• Practical experience with Mobile Measurement Partners (MMPs) like AppsFlyer, Adjust, or Singular.
• Proven track record of substantially growing a book of business (e.g., from €2M/year to €8M/year).
• Background in top-tier consulting (MBB) or a Senior Associate role at a scale-up.
• Hands-on experience with Hex, a rewarded user acquisition platform's admin, or working on the advertiser side of such a platform.
