Founding Product Designer

About the role

Almedia is a rapidly growing company aiming to become the next bootstrapped unicorn in Germany. We are looking for a designer to help shape our marketing platform, which serves over 70 million users.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Manage the full design lifecycle from initial discovery through to final implementation.
• Create intuitive and visually engaging user interfaces for our mobile-first products.
• Partner with engineering, product, and data science teams to ensure designs are technically sound and meet business objectives.
• Perform usability testing, user research, and data analysis to validate design choices.
• Lead design critiques and present work to stakeholders to ensure team alignment.
• Influence product strategy by contributing to long-term planning and business goals.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in mobile-first product design.
• A portfolio that demonstrates high-level UI and UX capabilities.
• Strong understanding of front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Ability to use data and research to inform design iterations.
• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Nice to have

• Experience with motion design.
• Experience designing gamified user elements.
