About the role

This role focuses on ensuring the market understands Allium's value by deeply engaging with customers, refining product positioning, and enabling successful product launches for institutional buyers. You will translate a technical roadmap into targeted sales materials for various financial segments.

What you'll do
- Understand institutional buyer behavior and translate these insights into effective positioning and sales enablement materials.
- Maintain and update competitive positioning against other data providers and internal solutions, equipping the sales team to win evaluations.
- Collaborate with the Product team to articulate the value of new features, explaining their importance and target audience for institutional clients.
- Support the Sales and Revenue Operations teams in developing language and materials for pricing and packaging, including usage-based plans and trial structures.
- Conduct win/loss interviews with named accounts to refine battlecards, ideal customer profiles, and product roadmap input.
- Partner with the research team to create data-driven reports and case studies for sales-ready proof points and thought leadership.
- Work daily with Product, Sales/RevOps, and Growth Marketing to align product truth, market understanding, and field execution.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in product marketing for a technical or data-focused product.
- Experience with enterprise or complex sales cycles is preferred.
- Background in marketing to banks, asset managers, market infrastructure operators, or regulated financial institutions is a strong advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to produce a consistent volume of high-quality, segment-specific collateral.
- Familiarity with terms like custody, settlement, reconciliation, market structure, market surveillance, and compliance.
- Strong competitive drive, including building battlecards and conducting win/loss analysis.
- Ability to understand product and data details, translating them into compelling buyer narratives.
- A customer-centric approach, regularly conducting win/loss and customer interviews to refine positioning and influence the roadmap.
- Collaborative work style, acting as a connector between Product, Engineering, Go-to-Market, and Growth Marketing teams.
- High level of curiosity for data, uncovering insights to create differentiated narratives.
- Solid understanding of blockchain technology and its intersection with traditional financial markets (payments, custody, trading, settlement).
- Ability to communicate effectively with both crypto-native and traditional finance stakeholders, across technical and non-technical audiences.
