What you'll do

• Create, review, and assess YAML files utilized for configurations, data pipelines, and system definitions.
• Evaluate the accuracy, organization, and schema compliance of YAML structures.
• Detect formatting errors, logical inconsistencies, and edge cases in AI-generated configuration files.
• Maintain a high level of attention to detail to identify errors that may affect downstream systems.
• Collaborate asynchronously with engineers and researchers to enhance data quality and system reliability.
• Independently complete task-based assignments on your own schedule.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of professional experience in Software Engineering.
• Proficient in working with YAML in production or data-driven settings.
• Strong attention to detail with an ability to identify subtle errors and inconsistencies.
• Familiar with version control systems like Git and structured engineering processes.
• Capable of working independently and adhering to precise technical specifications without direct supervision.

Nice to have

• Experience with configuration-driven systems, CI/CD pipelines, or infrastructure tools.
• Knowledge of schema validation, linting, or structured data formats such as JSON or XML.
• Previous involvement in supporting AI, data, or automation workflows.
• Background in DevOps, platform engineering, or backend development.
