About the role

Akraya is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to oversee critical developer infrastructure. You will focus on maintaining high availability for GitLab and Artifactory while driving platform modernization and automation.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Manage and maintain GitLab and Artifactory platforms to ensure constant uptime.
• Execute system upgrades, patching, and modernization efforts with minimal service impact.
• Configure advanced setups including HA clusters and Geo replication.
• Create observability dashboards and define service level agreements.
• Apply GitOps methodologies and assist with Kubernetes migration tasks.

Requirements

• Advanced proficiency in GitLab and JFrog Artifactory administration.
• Extensive experience with Linux administration.
• Proven capability in managing enterprise-scale developer platforms.
• Proficiency in Python and automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, and Bash.
• Intermediate knowledge of Kubernetes.
