About the role

Akeshya Private Limited is seeking a skilled Backend Developer to contribute to the creation of advanced finance and digital content solutions. You will play a key role in developing secure and efficient backend services and APIs that power our applications.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Construct APIs for managing user authentication, payment processing, subscription services, and financial operations.
• Develop database structures using Postgres and Redis.
• Integrate with external financial services such as BSE Star MF and NSE, as well as Digital Rights Management (DRM) systems.
• Implement secure API designs and ensure data handling practices comply with relevant regulations.

Requirements

• Possess 5 to 7 years of professional experience in backend development.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Node.js, Python (specifically with FastAPI), or Java (using Spring Boot).
• Have a solid understanding of designing secure and high-performance APIs.
• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Prior experience working within the fintech industry or with subscription-based platforms.
