As a Program Manager for the Gear Monitoring Team at Aisobservers, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and enhancing our gear monitoring systems. What you'll do
- Lead the Gear Monitoring Team in the development and implementation of innovative gear monitoring solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scopes, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Monitor project progress and performance, utilizing metrics and KPIs to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Facilitate regular team meetings and stakeholder updates to communicate project status, risks, and opportunities for enhancement.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address potential challenges that may impact project timelines or outcomes.
- Oversee the documentation of project processes, ensuring that all procedures are followed and recorded for future reference and compliance.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging team members to share ideas and best practices for gear monitoring and management.
- Act as the primary point of contact for external vendors and partners, negotiating contracts and ensuring service delivery meets organizational standards.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements related to gear monitoring, integrating new knowledge into project strategies.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, helping them develop their skills and advance their careers within the organization.
- Prepare and present reports to senior management, highlighting project achievements, challenges, and strategic recommendations for future initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in program or project management, preferably in the engineering or manufacturing sectors.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from inception to completion.
- Strong understanding of gear monitoring systems and technologies, with the ability to translate technical concepts into actionable plans.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Microsoft Project, Asana, or similar platforms.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving capabilities.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to gear monitoring and management.
Nice to have
- Certification in Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent.
- Experience with data analysis and reporting tools, such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies and their application in project management.
