Join Airwallex as a Sales Development Representative and play a key role in driving future growth. You'll work closely with the SME (Growth) Account Executive team to qualify leads and build the sales pipeline. This position involves engaging with prospects, developing creative outreach strategies, and collaborating with marketing to create product-focused initiatives.

What you'll do
- Guide qualified leads through the sales funnel, connecting them with sales representatives and scheduling meetings.
- Initiate contact with potential customers through calls or by responding to marketing-generated inquiries.
- Implement designed customer journey touchpoints using cold calls, emails, chat, and social media.
- Build rapport with prospects to understand their needs through effective questioning, qualifying their interest for sales hand-off.
- Present product information to customers once their needs have been identified.
- Follow up with interested potential customers who didn't initially convert into a sales opportunity.
- Conduct regular follow-up calls or emails and facilitate communication with existing customers to strengthen relationships and uncover new needs.
- Manage lead lists efficiently, meeting or exceeding service level agreements, and consistently update activity and contact information in the CRM system to support weekly reporting.
- Contribute to and recommend outreach strategies and best practices by experimenting with various touchpoints.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team, providing feedback and insights to enhance targeting and messaging.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of proven success or top performance in a Sales Development Representative or similar role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- A strong interest in technology.
- Self-motivated individual capable of thriving in a fast-growing environment.
