Software Engineer, Infrastructure at Airtable.
About the role
Airtable is seeking infrastructure engineers to support our growing technical environment. You will build scalable systems and improve internal developer workflows to ensure our product platform remains reliable for our users.

What you'll do
- Lead infrastructure improvements across the organization to increase engineering and business impact.
- Address systems-level challenges involving reliability, security, scalability, and efficiency.
- Create reusable and maintainable abstractions for internal engineering use.
- Manage the performance, observability, and reliability of production components.
Requirements
- 4-8 years of industry experience.
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience with distributed systems, databases, data infrastructure, and service-oriented architectures.
- Ability to relocate to or current residence in the San Francisco Bay Area, New York City, or the greater Seattle area.
- Commitment to working from the office 2-3 times per week in San Francisco or New York.
Nice to have
- For Traffic Engineering: Background in API gateways (Envoy, Nginx, Pingora), edge networking (CDN, WAF), or stateless request serving.

Practical notes
- Salary range: $187,000 - $260,000 USD.
- Compensation includes benefits, restricted stock units, and potential incentive pay.
