About the role

Airtable is building an AI-first platform where human users and AI agents collaborate on business workflows. This role focuses on integrating AI agents into the core product, ensuring they function as reliable, first-class users within the existing interface. You will define the future of human-agent interaction by solving complex structural problems rather than simply managing a feature backlog.

What you'll do

• Manage a product area from initial discovery through to final production and performance measurement.
• Design AI-native experiences that define how agents interact with users and maintain trust.
• Address deep, cross-surface structural challenges that impact the entire platform.
• Create functional prototypes using AI tools to test concepts early.
• Develop success metrics for AI adoption, quality, and user behavior.
• Operate with high agency to identify and prioritize the most critical problems.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in product management with a history of shipping reliable products.
• Demonstrated history of using AI to automate real work, such as building agents or creating prototypes instead of documentation.
• Technical fluency in AI, including an understanding of LLM capabilities, retrieval, prompt design, and model evaluation.
• Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments where formal roadmaps may not yet exist.
• Strong product intuition regarding AI interactions, specifically regarding transparency, confidence, and user trust.
• Deep user empathy for non-technical individuals interacting with complex data.
