About the role
Airtable is seeking a manager to oversee daily procurement functions and modernize the department for an AI-native environment. You will design automated workflows, implement AI agents, and manage the full procure-to-pay cycle while contributing to broader finance operations projects.

What you'll do
- Manage vendor onboarding, intake triage, purchase order creation, and approval coordination across IT, security, legal, and finance departments.
- Oversee the procure-to-pay cycle, including vendor master data maintenance, purchase order accuracy, and dispute resolution.
- Develop and scale self-service procurement paths, catalogs, and P-card programs to handle repetitive purchasing tasks.
- Perform contract redlining for SOWs and Order Forms, collaborating with legal counsel on non-commercial terms.
- Identify and execute opportunities to replace manual processes with AI agents and Airtable-native tools.
- Create multi-step workflows that delegate routine tasks to AI while building verification checks to ensure output quality.
- Develop reusable templates, tools, and playbooks to improve operational standards across the company.
- Participate in cross-functional finance operations projects as business needs evolve.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in procurement, finance operations, business operations, or program management.
- Bachelor degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Ability to navigate complex, ambiguous environments and solve unfamiliar problems.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging for various stakeholders, including executives and legal counsel.
- Proven experience directing AI tools to generate high-quality work and improve efficiency.
- Demonstrated ability to build reusable workflows or tools that improve team performance.
- Proficiency with procurement, legal, and financial systems such as Coupa, Zip, Workday, or Ironclad CLM.

- Compensation for San Francisco, New York, and Los Angeles is $162,000 to $211,200 USD.
- Compensation for all other locations is $145,000 to $189,500 USD.
- Total compensation includes benefits, restricted stock units, and potential incentive pay.
