Engineering Manager, Admin & Governance at Airtable.
About the role
Airtable is looking for an Engineering Manager to lead the Admin & Governance team within our product engineering pillar. You will oversee the development of enterprise trust infrastructure, including AI governance frameworks, audit systems, SSO, and admin controls, to support our largest customers.

What you'll do
- Manage, hire, and develop a team of high-performing engineers.
- Collaborate with engineering leadership to define technical strategy and ensure high-quality, sustainable product development.
- Partner with product and design teams to set and execute long-term and short-term roadmaps.
- Mentor senior engineers to increase their influence and support the growth of early-career team members.
- Establish operational processes that allow the team to scale while maintaining agility.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of engineering experience, including previous roles as a Staff Engineer or Technical Lead.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an engineering management role.
- Proven ability to work closely with Product Managers to define product requirements, manage trade-offs, and drive customer adoption.
- Experience managing complex, large-scale systems.
- Demonstrated success leading high-performing teams in fast-paced environments.
- Experience prioritizing multiple work streams and projects simultaneously.
Skills & tools
- Enterprise trust infrastructure (Admin Panel, SSO, audit systems, User Groups).
- AI governance frameworks and security controls.
