This role focuses on enhancing the operational health of Airbnb's internal business technology using artificial intelligence. You will be instrumental in automating ticket resolution, accelerating incident response, and developing self-healing monitoring systems. A strong understanding of AI and its practical application in operational environments is central to this position. Key facts

Team: Global Operations, BizTech What you'll do
- Manage and resolve incoming service requests, identifying patterns for automation.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to address incidents and troubleshoot issues in real-time.
- Develop and maintain monitoring dashboards to track service performance and data integrity.
- Utilize AI tools to streamline ticket triage, root-cause analysis, and documentation.
- Write and maintain code to automate operational tasks and workflows.
- Collaborate with various teams to ensure timely resolution of technical challenges. Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of experience with observability and metrics platforms such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or ElasticSearch.
- At least 3 years of experience working with data querying and pipeline management tools like SQL, Airflow, Trino, or SQS.
- Familiarity with network fundamentals and hardware, including brands like Cisco and Palo Alto.
- Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code practices.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD and automation tools including Jenkins, ArgoCD, or GitHub Actions, across AWS, GCP, or Oracle Cloud.
- Proficiency in working within ticket and workflow systems such as Jira and Confluence. Nice to have
- Prior experience supporting enterprise SaaS applications like Salesforce or Workday, and with SSO/identity integration tools such as Okta. Skills & tools

- This position is eligible for remote work within the USA, but requires residency in a state where Airbnb has a registered entity. A list of excluded states is available and subject to change.
- The base pay range for this role is $136,000 to $160,000 USD annually. Compensation may vary based on experience, skills, and business needs. The role may also include eligibility for bonus, equity, and benefits.
