About the role
Airalo is seeking a Partnerships Director to spearhead our partnership initiatives across the APAC region. This role involves leading a team and developing strategic relationships to drive growth for the world's first eSIM store. You will play a crucial part in shaping our global partnership strategy and ensuring seamless collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Key facts
What you'll do
Lead and develop a team of Partnerships Managers, supported by country-specific teams for Channel and Corporate Sales in APAC.
Contribute to the global Partnerships strategy as a key member of the leadership team.
Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to enhance Airalo's partnership offerings.
Identify, prospect, and negotiate with significant strategic partners throughout the APAC region.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing partners to boost profitability and expand B2B/B2B2C contributions.
Refine the partnership roadmap to address partner needs and solidify Airalo's position as a preferred industry provider in APAC.
Work with various internal and external parties to execute joint projects and opportunities.
Establish and optimize standard operating procedures for the Partnerships department to improve workflow efficiency.
Represent Airalo at prominent industry events and conferences in APAC.
Manage and achieve Airalo's Partnerships Objectives and Key Results for the APAC region.
Requirements
A minimum of 10 years of experience in partnerships, sales, account management, or business development within high-growth B2B and/or B2B2C settings.
At least 5 years of prior experience in building and managing successful teams.
Proficiency in English for both verbal and written communication.
Nice to have
Experience within the Traveltech or Consumer tech industries.
Fluency in Korean, both spoken and written.
Skills & tools
Experience with sales and partnership management tools.
