About the role

Airalo is the world first eSIM marketplace, providing affordable mobile data to travelers across 200+ countries. We are looking for an experienced iOS engineer to join our global team of 400+ people to build and scale features for our primary mobile application.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Design and implement new features and updates for our core iOS application.
• Maintain high code quality standards by writing clean, testable code and troubleshooting technical issues.
• Collaborate with the development team throughout the full software development lifecycle.
• Create and maintain technical documentation to support our internal knowledge base.
• Propose and implement new ideas to improve our development processes and product functionality.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience building Swift-based iOS applications in agile environments.
• Experience publishing and maintaining live applications on the App Store.
• Proficiency in MVVM architecture, OOP principles, and Git/Gitflow workflows.
• Strong understanding of memory management, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience building interfaces using SwiftUI and Auto-Layout.
• Practical knowledge of Unit Testing, Feature Testing, and Mocking.
• Familiarity with AI workflows and agentic engineering.
• Full professional fluency in English for daily communication.
• Exposure to payment systems and marketplace application domains.

Nice to have

• Experience with UI/UX design principles and A/B testing.
• Background in SCRUM or other agile methodologies.
• Prior experience in the telecommunications sector, specifically with eSIM and GSMA technologies.

• Employment in Spain is managed via Deel as a permanent contrato indefinido.
