iOS Developer at Airalo.
About the role
Airalo is the world first eSIM marketplace, providing affordable mobile data to travelers across 200+ countries. We are looking for an experienced iOS engineer to join our global team of 400+ people to build and scale features for our primary mobile application.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Design and implement new features and updates for our core iOS application.
- Maintain high code quality standards by writing clean, testable code and troubleshooting technical issues.
- Collaborate with the development team throughout the full software development lifecycle.
- Create and maintain technical documentation to support our internal knowledge base.
- Propose and implement new ideas to improve our development processes and product functionality.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Computer Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience building Swift-based iOS applications in agile environments.
- Experience publishing and maintaining live applications on the App Store.
- Proficiency in MVVM architecture, OOP principles, and Git/Gitflow workflows.
- Strong understanding of memory management, data structures, and algorithms.
- Experience building interfaces using SwiftUI and Auto-Layout.
- Practical knowledge of Unit Testing, Feature Testing, and Mocking.
- Familiarity with AI workflows and agentic engineering.
- Full professional fluency in English for daily communication.
- Exposure to payment systems and marketplace application domains.
Nice to have
- Experience with UI/UX design principles and A/B testing.
- Background in SCRUM or other agile methodologies.
- Prior experience in the telecommunications sector, specifically with eSIM and GSMA technologies.
