About the role
Agoda is seeking a Senior Manager or Principal HR Business Partner to lead the People agenda for the North America region. You will act as a strategic advisor to Commercial teams, balancing high-level organizational planning with hands-on operational support to drive business growth.

What you'll do
- Advise regional leadership on people and business strategies to support commercial goals.
- Develop and execute a People Roadmap aligned with local and company-wide priorities.
- Manage organizational design, workforce planning, and change management initiatives.
- Use data analytics to track performance, engagement, and retention trends.
- Oversee talent development, succession planning, and leadership pipeline growth.
- Handle employee relations cases and provide guidance on complex, sensitive matters.
- Manage people operations including onboarding, policy compliance, and local labor law adherence.
- Mentor HR colleagues and business leaders to build regional leadership capability.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- 8 to 10 years of progressive HR experience, including 3 to 5 years in a senior HRBP or leadership capacity.
- Minimum 5 years of experience operating across North America, including the US, Canada, and LATAM, with knowledge of cross-border employment practices and labor laws.
- Proven ability to manage both strategic organizational transformation and tactical, hands-on HR operations.
- Proficiency in English with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and lead large-scale change in a global environment.
