What you'll do

• Calculate electrical quantities from construction plans and drawings.
• Create precise cost estimates for various project types, including multifamily, commercial, and light industrial.
• Help prepare and compile bid packages.
• Work with estimators and project managers during the bidding phase.
• Examine project specifications, drawings, and bid documents.
• Organize estimate documentation and keep precise project records.
• Support multiple bids concurrently while meeting deadlines.
• Learn and adapt to the company's internal estimating procedures.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience estimating US construction projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent estimating background.
• Experience estimating electrical construction projects.
• Solid understanding of commercial and multifamily construction processes.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication abilities.
• Capable of working independently with little oversight.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable working full-time during Pacific Time business hours.

Nice to have

• Experience estimating large multifamily, commercial, or light industrial electrical projects.
• Experience managing several bids at once.
• Ability to identify ways to improve estimating processes.
• A portfolio or work samples showing estimating accuracy.
