About the role
AEG is seeking a Systems Engineer to maintain the IT infrastructure for AEG Presents. You will focus on managing cloud-based platforms, endpoint security, and audiovisual conferencing systems to ensure stable operations.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Administer and support SaaS platforms including Office 365, AWS, Google Workspace, Slack, Dropbox, and Teams.
- Manage user endpoints using MDM solutions like Jamf and Intune to maintain security compliance.
- Perform routine maintenance, patching, and updates for servers and cloud environments.
- Provide Tier 2 technical support for audiovisual conferencing hardware and room configurations.
- Configure cloud systems and support automation workflows to increase operational efficiency.
- Integrate SaaS applications with existing IT systems and troubleshoot data flow issues.
- Maintain technical documentation for system configurations and report on performance metrics.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 2-4 years of experience in an IT role.
- Proficiency with Office 365 and Active Directory.
- Hands-on experience with Intune or Jamf.
- Familiarity with Windows and Linux server environments, as well as Microsoft and Apple operating systems.
- Understanding of security principles, including encryption, vulnerability management, and identity access control.
- Basic knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Basic proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
Nice to have
- Relevant industry certifications such as ITIL V4, Jamf certification, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator.
- Experience with SharePoint and Atlassian tools.
- Familiarity with Zoom and general AV conferencing systems.
