About the role

Adyen is seeking a leader to manage our North American Implementation Engineering team from our Toronto office. You will guide a group of professionals focused on delivering complex payment solutions for our large-scale global clients.

What you'll do

• Manage and mentor a team of implementation engineers to ensure efficient, high-quality customer integrations.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for technical project challenges and complex solution designs.
• Foster a collaborative team culture that prioritizes open communication and professional growth.
• Oversee the expansion of the team while maintaining our internal operational standards.
• Act as a change agent by identifying and implementing process improvements.
• Collaborate with global departments to advance organizational goals and key results.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience managing teams of implementation managers, technical consultants, or solution engineers, including goal setting and coaching.
• Background in handling integration projects within finance, retail, professional services, or technology sectors at a global scale.
• Proven ability to drive operational change and establish new procedures.
• Experience navigating the complexities of global organizations and coordinating across international time zones.
• Understanding of the technical and operational requirements for supporting global commerce clients.

Practical notes

• Annual base salary range: $165,000 to $225,000.
