Adyen seeks an Optimization Manager to enhance payment performance for its clients. This role involves analyzing payment data, developing optimization strategies, and collaborating with various teams to improve merchant success. You will contribute to Adyen's value proposition by driving higher approval rates, reducing fraud, and improving cost efficiency.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with commercial teams to demonstrate Adyen's value and boost product adoption.
• Utilize data insights to inform discussions with merchants.
• Provide expert guidance on payment optimization to both internal teams and clients.
• Implement advanced optimization strategies across Adyen's client base using existing tools.
• Identify opportunities to cross-sell Adyen products like Protect and Uplift.
• Develop data-driven optimization strategies to improve performance and mitigate risk.
• Create and maintain scalable analytical frameworks, dashboards, and tools.
• Operate independently with a global perspective, offering consultative advice to high-value clients.
• Become a subject matter expert in a specific area of payment optimization, such as risk reduction or conversion uplift.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Risk, Payment Performance, Data, or a similar role within the payments industry.
• Mandatory experience in the payments sector.
• Fluent in both English and Portuguese.
• Strong ability to manage stakeholders, engaging with clients and cross-functional teams.
• Possess an ownership mindset, capable of prioritizing and executing tasks independently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present insights clearly.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment with global teams.
• Strong data analysis skills, able to work with complex and unfamiliar datasets.

Nice to have

• Experience creating impactful dashboards using BI tools such as Looker or Tableau.
