Security Engineer

About the role

This role focuses on Identity Architecture and Solutions, where you will build and manage scalable identity and SaaS security frameworks. You will join a technical team dedicated to reducing identity-related risks through collaborative architecture and operational security.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Develop and deploy Zero-Trust access controls for workforce and service identities using RBAC and ABAC standards.
• Manage device posture checks and risk-adaptive policies for critical services.
• Harden privileged access by migrating administrators to right-sized entitlements and removing long-lived elevated permissions.
• Define and implement security posture baselines for M365, Slack, GitHub, Workday, and Google.
• Build remediation runbooks and track posture success metrics.
• Collect and analyze identity metrics, including AuthN, AuthZ, and entitlement changes, while maintaining dashboards for access sprawl and privilege drift.
• Create architecture standards and reference documentation to guide long-term risk reduction.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with enterprise identity solutions such as Entra ID, AD, Okta, or SailPoint.
• Understanding of enterprise security controls, network security, and cloud platform concepts.
• Ability to influence and collaborate with IT and business partners to solve complex security problems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and peer audiences.
• Experience working within a technical team in an enterprise environment.

Nice to have

• Engineering experience with secure access solutions like Teleport or Vault.
• Knowledge of secrets management and CI/CD pipeline security.
• Proficiency in scripting or automation tools such as Python or PowerShell.
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform for policy automation.
