About the role

The Personalization and Loyalty team seeks a senior individual contributor to drive customer engagement through statistical science and artificial intelligence. You will join the KM+ DSR team to build scalable machine learning models, implement Generative AI, and apply causal inference to influence strategic business decisions.

What you'll do

• Design and deploy Generative AI solutions, including LLM fine-tuning, prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, and agentic workflows.
• Lead end-to-end data science projects from initial research and experimentation to production deployment.
• Apply causal machine learning and econometric methods such as CATE, DiD, matching, and panel methods.
• Collaborate with product managers to define science product roadmaps and strategic priorities.
• Maintain production machine learning pipelines using software engineering best practices like CI/CD, version control, and testing.
• Communicate technical findings and methodologies to both leadership and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor or master degree in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
• 3+ years of professional data science experience with increasing technical responsibility.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Git.
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI technologies.
• Knowledge of cloud-based data science platforms such as Azure or Databricks.
• Ability to translate business challenges into actionable analytical solutions.

Nice to have

• Experience with MLOps practices, including workflow orchestration, model monitoring, and reproducibility.
• Background in retail, consumer products, media, or marketplace analytics.
• Familiarity with experimentation frameworks and measurement pipelines.
• Experience mentoring or providing technical guidance to team members.
• History of supporting loyalty, personalization, or measurement initiatives.

Skills & tools

• Python, SQL, Git, Azure, Databricks, LLM fine-tuning, Prompt Engineering, RAG, Agentic Workflows, Causal Inference (CATE, DiD, matching).

Practical notes

• This is a non-exempt position eligible for overtime pay at 1.5 times the base rate for hours exceeding 40 per week.
