About the role
Addi is seeking a Tax Manager to lead our tax operations across Colombia, the US, and the Cayman Islands as we transition into a financial institution and prepare for an IPO. You will take full ownership of our consolidated effective tax rate, manage external advisors at EY and KPMG, and transform our tax function into a scalable competitive advantage.

What you'll do
- Manage a multi-jurisdiction compliance calendar covering VAT, ICA, WHT, CIT, and US/Cayman filings.
- Oversee annual tax filings, ensuring positions are quantified and defended internally before advisor review.
- Handle all tax-related close inputs, including current tax accruals, deferred tax movements, UTP tracking, and NetSuite reconciliations.
- Build and maintain a consolidated effective tax rate model that accounts for WHT leakage across all entities.
- Execute specific tax initiatives, including Art. 107 ET board policies, WHT Category B defense, and Cayman economic substance requirements.
- Integrate tax workflows into our Finance AI Champions program to automate and improve accuracy.
Requirements
- Proven expertise in Colombian corporate and operational tax, including direct experience with DIAN audits and formal discrepancy notices.
- Ability to build defensible tax positions and workpapers independently of external advisors.
- Strong background in tax accounting, specifically maintaining DTA/DTL models and ensuring zero-variance balance sheet reconciliations.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional data from Accounting, Treasury, and Legal departments.
- Capability to translate complex tax risks into business terms for senior leadership and CFO stakeholders.
- Conversational English proficiency.
