About the role
Addi is a financial platform operating as a regulated bank in Colombia, focused on modernizing payments and credit for over 2 million customers. We are looking for an accounting professional to manage financial reporting, reconciliations, and regulatory compliance for our banking and SaaS operations. You will play a central role in refining our month-end processes and integrating automation to improve financial data integrity.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Deliver accurate weekly reports for suppliers and partners on schedule.
- Provide tax-related support to internal and external stakeholders within 5 days of month-end.
- Reconcile assigned accounts within 6 calendar days.
- Accelerate the month-end close process to 8 or 9 calendar days within your first 6 months.
- Implement at least 2 process improvements that measurably reduce processing time.
- Assist with audit requirements and internal control adherence.
- Partner with Treasury, FP&A, and Capital Markets to provide financial analysis for company initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Accounting.
- 2 to 3 years of experience in accounting roles within medium or large companies.
- Proficiency in IFRS or GAAP accounting standards.
- Strong command of ERP systems such as Netsuite, SAP, or Oracle.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with data analysis tools.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Understanding of banking regulations and audit requirements.
