What you'll do

Design and build scalable, reliable, and efficient data architectures that support complex analytical and operational needs.

Develop and maintain data models, schemas, and standards to ensure data consistency and quality across the organization.

Collaborate with engineering, bioinformatics, and research teams to understand data requirements and translate them into architectural designs.

Oversee the implementation of data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehousing solutions.

Provide technical leadership and guidance on data best practices, governance, and security.

Requirements

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.

A minimum of 7 years of professional experience in data architecture or a closely related role.

Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing large-scale data solutions.

Proficiency in SQL and experience with at least one major cloud data platform (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).

Experience with data modeling techniques and database design.

Nice to have

A Master's or Ph.D. in a relevant field.

Experience with bioinformatics data or the life sciences industry.

Familiarity with data governance frameworks and tools.
