Impact Manager

About the role

Acumen is hiring an experienced professional to refine and execute the impact strategy for Acumen Academy. You will work closely with the Associate Director of Impact to build measurement frameworks, manage data integrity, and translate findings into organizational insights.

What you'll do

• Design and implement Theories of Change, logic models, and impact measurement plans.
• Create indicator tracking tables and project dashboards to monitor performance against targets.
• Oversee daily data operations, including collection, cleaning, analysis, and reporting.
• Develop and validate quantitative and qualitative data collection tools.
• Manage data integrity within the Foundry system and annual reporting on lives impacted.
• Conduct target forecasting and alert project leads to deviations.
• Build internal capacity for impact measurement and facilitate learning activities like After Action Reviews.
• Generate actionable insights and case studies for internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in developing Theories of Change, logic models, and impact frameworks.
• Proven ability to build evidence and measurement frameworks, including indicator trackers and results-based monitoring.
• Experience working in global environments with diverse stakeholders in private sector finance.
• Background in system creation, including processes, technical workflows, and resourcing.
• Demonstrated experience collaborating with implementation teams on project planning and risk management.
• Must be permanently authorized to work in the United Kingdom if based in London.

Nice to have

• Experience developing dashboards in Salesforce or similar platforms.

Skills & tools

• Data analysis software: MS Excel, Google Sheets, Power BI, Airtable.
• Visualization software: Tableau or similar.
• Statistical methods: Pivot tables, basic regression analysis.
