About the role
Acorns is looking for a Data Analyst I to support the Core Experience team, focusing on Investing and Banking products. This role involves using data to improve the customer journey and working with Product, Finance, and Operations to ensure features provide maximum value. You will help shape the product roadmap by turning data into useful insights to boost retention and enhance user experience.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Collaborate with the Core Experience team to develop and analyze product experiments.
- Work with Product, Finance, and Operations to create and maintain reports and dashboards for Core Experience products.
- Write complex SQL queries to extract data for in-depth analysis.
- Use Databricks and DBT to transform raw data into clean datasets.
- Design and manage Tableau dashboards to track key performance indicators for Investing and Banking features.
- Monitor customer behavior and product performance with Amplitude to find areas for improvement and growth.
- Partner with managers and cross-functional teams to prioritize tasks, including new infrastructure and tool development.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in analytics, preferably supporting product development or financial services.
- Strong SQL skills for data extraction.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau.
- Solid understanding of statistical concepts.
- Hands-on experience with A/B testing methods and product experimentation.
- Familiarity with modern data stack tools such as Databricks and DBT.
- Experience with product analytics platforms like Amplitude.
- Ability to explain complex data findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders in Finance and Operations.
