About the role
Acorns is looking for a Data Analyst II to support the Core Experience team, focusing on our Investing and Banking products. You will use data to improve customer interactions and work with Product, Finance, and Operations teams. Your insights will help shape product development by turning raw data into actionable information that boosts customer retention and overall experience.
Key facts
What you'll do
Analyze product experiments to drive new feature development and improvements.
Create and maintain reports and dashboards for the Core Experience product lines, collaborating with Product, Finance, and Operations.
Write and refine SQL queries to extract data for in-depth analysis.
Use Databricks and DBT to prepare clean datasets for team use.
Develop and manage Tableau dashboards to track key performance indicators for Investing and Banking features.
Monitor customer behavior and product performance using Amplitude to find areas for improvement and growth.
Collaborate with management and cross-functional teams to set priorities, including infrastructure and tool development.
Requirements
At least 3 years of experience in analytics, ideally supporting product development or financial services.
Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and experience with data visualization tools like Tableau.
A strong understanding of statistical concepts and practical experience with A/B testing and product experimentation.
Familiarity with data stack tools such as Databricks, DBT, and product analytics platforms like Amplitude.
The ability to explain complex data findings clearly to non-technical audiences in Finance and Operations.
