About the role

Abby Care is building an AI-native platform to support family-led home care. We are seeking a dedicated professional to grow our local presence by fostering connections among caregivers and managing our event outreach strategy in Indianapolis.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Organize and host weekly gatherings, ranging from informal family meetups to caregiver-focused events.
• Represent the company at nonprofit resource fairs, community festivals, and advocacy forums to increase brand awareness.
• Manage all event logistics, including budget tracking, vendor relations, site selection, and marketing materials.
• Build and maintain relationships with local community organizations and advocacy groups.
• Act as a brand ambassador by explaining our services and eligibility requirements to families.
• Monitor outreach performance by tracking engagement, referrals, and lead generation metrics.
• Coordinate with internal departments to align field activities with broader company growth goals.

Requirements

• Professional background in grassroots organizing, community outreach, or event management.
• Ability to work independently in a field-based role while maintaining high levels of self-motivation.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to initiate conversations and build rapport with families and community leaders.
• Willingness to maintain a flexible schedule, including occasional work during evenings and weekends.
• Ability to travel locally throughout the region for events.
