About the role
This role focuses on defining and communicating the value of 6sense's foundational platform, data, and infrastructure. You will translate complex technical capabilities into compelling narratives for technical and business decision-makers. Your work will be crucial in establishing 6sense as a composable intelligence layer for GTM strategies.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Develop and maintain clear positioning and messaging for the Foundation pillar, ensuring alignment with other product areas.
- Create technical content, including architecture explanations, whitepapers, and benchmarks, to demonstrate the platform's accuracy, coverage, and identity resolution capabilities.
- Champion the narrative around 6sense as a composable intelligence layer, particularly for agentic GTM stacks and the MCP framework.
- Articulate the advantages of 6sense's data and identity layer compared to alternative solutions, focusing on coverage, match rates, and security.
- Equip sales and partner teams with the necessary technical evaluation materials, such as battlecards and objection handling guides.
- Lead go-to-market strategies for Foundation pillar releases, including new data assets, API features, security enhancements, and workflow capabilities.
- Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to inform the roadmap and with Customer Success to highlight post-sale use cases.
- Gather market and competitive insights for the data and platform layer to influence product strategy and packaging.
Requirements
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in product marketing, technical product management, or a related field, with significant experience marketing platform, data, infrastructure, API, or developer-focused products.
- Demonstrated ability to translate technical concepts like APIs, data pipelines, identity resolution, integrations, security, and AI architectures into clear positioning and business value.
- Proven experience owning messaging for technical products and supporting technical sales motions, including RFPs, security reviews, and proof-of-concept engagements.
- A hands-on approach, including practical experience with APIs, platform configuration, and building demonstrations to inform messaging.
- Excellent writing skills, capable of producing technically accurate and clear content, from concise value propositions to detailed whitepapers.
- Familiarity with B2B SaaS buyers, ideally within martech, RevTech, or data platforms, and comfort engaging with technical and economic buyers.
- Strong judgment and the ability to operate as a senior individual contributor, setting strategy and influencing stakeholders across functions.
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience with data enrichment, identity resolution, MCP frameworks, agentic AI architectures, or composable/API-first platforms.
- Experience marketing to developers or technical evaluators, including documentation and community engagement.
- Background in or related to GTM intelligence, ABM, sales intelligence, CDP, iPaaS, or identity platforms.

Practical notes
Base Salary Range: $193,044.00 - $230,035.00. Total compensation may include bonus and stock options. Benefits include health insurance, life and disability insurance, 401K matching, holidays, self-care days, and PTO.
