Software Engineer III

About the role

You will design and build scalable backend systems for the 6sense AI-driven platform. This role involves collaborating with product and engineering teams to develop high-performance services and contribute to architectural strategy for enterprise-scale applications.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs.
• Create production-grade applications and distributed systems.
• Lead system design discussions and architectural planning.
• Partner with product managers and cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions.

• Conduct code reviews and promote engineering standards.

Requirements

• 4+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on backend development.
• Proficiency in Python and/or Java.
• Experience building scalable APIs and backend systems.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Experience with cloud platforms including AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Ability to design scalable technical solutions and contribute to architecture.

Nice to have

• Experience with Golang and TypeScript.
• Background in high-growth SaaS environments.
• Experience with data platforms, analytics, or large-scale data processing.
• Familiarity with building AI/ML-enabled products.

Practical notes

Base Salary Range: $147,918.75 - $216,947.50. Total compensation includes base salary, potential bonus or commission, and stock options.
