About the role
This position will oversee the development and implementation of compensation strategies across multiple countries. You will act as a key advisor to leadership and HR partners, creating programs that support company growth and reward performance fairly and competitively.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Manage compensation initiatives including base pay, incentive plans, and equity awards globally.
- Develop and refine compensation structures that align with business objectives, market benchmarks, and internal equity principles.
- Provide expert guidance to senior management and People Business Partners on compensation matters, including job evaluations, organizational changes, and employee adjustments.
- Act as the primary point of contact for equity programs, overseeing grant processes, employee education, and administration.
- Address and resolve complex compensation issues, ensuring consistent and well-documented resolutions.
- Conduct market research and job pricing using industry surveys to inform compensation recommendations.
- Ensure compensation practices are compliant with regulations, promote pay equity, and support transparency efforts.
- Maintain and enhance compensation systems, policies, and documentation for scalability and auditability.
- Utilize data analytics and AI tools to monitor compensation trends, improve data accuracy, and enhance program efficiency.
Requirements
- 8 to 11 years of experience in compensation, Total Rewards, or a similar HR function, preferably in a SaaS or technology company.
- Extensive knowledge of compensation strategy, market analysis, job leveling, salary structures, incentive plans, and equity design.
- Experience managing compensation programs for international employees, with specific experience in the US and India being highly beneficial.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with executives, People Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Finance, Legal, and People Operations on compensation decisions.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling capabilities, with the skill to present complex compensation data clearly.
- Experience managing full compensation planning cycles within Workday, including modeling, tool readiness, and post-cycle analysis.
- Expertise in equity compensation, including managing grants and coordinating with stock administration.
- Sound judgment in handling sensitive compensation information and managing complex situations with proper documentation.
- Proven track record of improving, automating, and scaling compensation processes and tools.
- Experience with compensation planning tools, HRIS systems, and equity administration platforms such as Pave, Workday, or Carta.
- Familiarity with FLSA classification, pay equity, pay transparency, and compensation compliance.

- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or equivalent certification.

- Base Salary Range: $109,312.50 - $160,325.00 per year.
